Who We Are
The Tabono Consulting Group, was created by three disabled military veterans who saw the need to serve underrepresented communities and introduce youth to opportunities, industry, resources and professionals to which they may not have access to or knowledge of.
The team delivers a resounding high energy message using real world experiences gained from the military, law enforcement, Dept of Defense, government contracting, non profit and commercial business ownership. We provide the foundation for helping our students build meaningful relationships, mental toughness along with personal and professional development in order to help them navigate life's daily challenges. We connect with their audience using real-life stories associated with military, career, poverty and inner city experiences.
Tabono is an empowerment agency providing social and emotional support, mentoring, and coaching services who focus on performance improvement. They provide tools, techniques, and concepts which help students, individuals, groups, and career professionals transform their mindset and overcome barriers to success.
Their ROADMAP Academy consists of interactive sessions designed to provide students with information needed to keep them "mentally strong and focused". Students are given guidance to overcome obstacles to identify and address their fears, doubts, and anxieties associated with high school and life challenges. This program becomes the student blueprint for becoming young independent adults, productive citizens, working professionals, lifelong learners, entrepreneurs, or community leaders.
